🚨 Consequences of Transporting Prohibited Materials

For Customers

If you post a job with prohibited materials:

  1. First time: Warning + job cancelled
  2. Second time: Temporary suspension (7 days)
  3. Third time: Account permanently deactivated

Additional:

  • Possible report to authorities (hazardous waste, drugs, weapons)
  • Full legal responsibility
  • No payment refunds

For Helpers

If you're asked to transport prohibited materials:

  1. Reject the job immediately
  2. Report the customer through the app
  3. Document with photos (if safe to do so)

If you discover prohibited materials upon arrival:

  1. Don't load them
  2. Inform customer you can't transport them
  3. Cancel the job (no penalty)
  4. Report to ReciGo

Protection: Helpers are protected if they reject jobs with prohibited materials, even after accepting.

šŸ“‹ How to Verify If Something Is Prohibited

Before Posting a Job

Ask yourself:

  1. Is it legal to possess this object?
  2. Is it dangerous for transport?
  3. Does it require a special license to transport?
  4. Is it on the prohibited list?

If in doubt:

  • Check this guide
  • Contact support
  • Ask at your local recycling center

General Rule

Permitted: If you can carry it yourself on public transport, it's probably permitted on ReciGo.

Prohibited: If it requires a special vehicle, license, or is illegal, it's prohibited.
