Job types: Move, Recycle, Dispose

ReciGo allows you to post three different types of jobs depending on your needs. Each type is designed for a specific purpose and works slightly differently.

The 3 job types

This job type is ideal when you need to:

  • Small moves (room, storage unit)

How it works:

  1. You indicate pickup address
  2. You indicate delivery address
  3. Helper picks up and delivers in the same trip
  4. You upload confirmation photos upon receipt

Typical price: â‚Ŧ15-50 depending on distance and size

â™ģī¸ Pick up & Recycle

What it's for: Take items to recycling center or eco-park

Perfect for:

How it works:

  1. Helper picks up at your address
  2. Takes items to nearest recycling center
  3. Uploads proof photo at recycling center (GPS + timestamp)
  4. Job is marked as completed

Important: Helper must upload photographic proof of recycling. ReciGo verifies it's an authorized recycling center.

Tips by type

For "Move & Deliver"

  • Indicate flexible times for pickup and delivery
  • Make sure someone is at both addresses
  • Measure large items before posting

For "Pick up & Recycle"

  • Verify the item is recyclable
  • Don't mix different types of waste
  • Helper may need your ID for recycling center in some cases

For "Dispose"

  • Separate hazardous waste BEFORE posting
  • Indicate waste type (construction, pruning, etc.)
  • Keep in mind landfill fees vary by municipality

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheapest?

Usually "Pick up & Recycle" is most economical because there are no landfill fees and distance is usually shorter. "Dispose" is most expensive due to fees.

Can helpers do all three types?

Yes, all helpers can accept any job type. However, some prefer certain types depending on their vehicle or experience.

Can I ask the helper to change the type during the job?

No. If you need to change the type, you must cancel and create a new job. Changing the type affects price, destination and responsibilities.

What if the helper doesn't take it to the right place?

If a "Recycle" job ends up at the landfill, or vice versa, you can report it and dispute the payment. ReciGo verifies proof photos with GPS.
