Real-time Job Tracking
Once you accept a helper, ReciGo lets you follow the entire process in real-time. This guide explains how tracking works, what each status means, and how to stay informed at every phase of your job.

From the Main Screen
- Open ReciGo
- Go to Jobs (bottom tab)
- Select the active job
- You'll see the complete tracking screen

Tap any notification from your active job to go directly to tracking.

What Does the Map Show?
Your Location (Pickup)
- π΅ Blue pin: Your pickup location
- Full address
- Access details you shared
Helper's Location
- π Moving icon: Helper's current location
- Updates every 10-15 seconds
- Shows direction of movement
Destination (only for "Move and deliver")
- π’ Green pin: Delivery location
- Route from pickup to delivery visible
Route
- Line connecting locations
- Calculated in real-time based on traffic
- Adapts to route changes
Helper privacy
Helper's location is only visible:
- β From acceptance until 1 hour after completion
- β Before accepting the job
- β More than 1 hour after completion
This protects both parties' privacy.

At the top of the map you'll see:

- ETA recalculates every 30 seconds

Delays
If ETA increases significantly (>15 min), you'll receive notification:
"Miguel is delayed due to traffic. New ETA: 11:35 AM"
The helper can also send you a message explaining.

- Looking for access/parking
- Ready for direct contact

Sharing Location/Photos in Chat
From chat you can:

Phone calls
ReciGo does NOT share phone numbers directly for privacy.
But you can call through the app:
- Open chat
- Tap π icon (call)
- Routed through ReciGo (your number stays private)

Why Does the Helper Take Photos?
Protection for both:

End (delivery/recycling):

After completion:

Photos are kept for 90 days
After 90 days, photos are deleted for privacy. Download any you need before then.

How It's Calculated
ETA considers:
- π Route distance
- π¦ Real-time traffic
- π Helper's current speed
- π£οΈ Road type (highway, city)
- β° Time of day
Accuracy
- β Β±5 minutes: Under normal conditions
- β οΈ Β±10-15 minutes: With variable traffic
- β May change: If there's an incident/delay
Updates
ETA updates:
- Every 30 seconds (when moving)
- When traffic is detected
- When route changes

π¨ Problems During Job
Helper Not Moving
If pin isn't updating:
Possible causes:
- Helper still preparing
- Looking for parking
- GPS issue
- Connection problem
What to do:
- Wait 5 minutes
- Send message: "Everything okay? I don't see movement on the map"
- If no response in 10 min, call
- If persists >20 min, contact support
ETA Constantly Increasing
Causes:
- Heavy traffic
- Accident on route
- Helper stopped (gas, etc.)
What to do:
- Check if helper sent message explaining
- If not, ask: "I see a delay, everything okay?"
- If delay >30 min without notice, consider canceling
Helper Doesn't Arrive at Exact Point
If pin is nearby but not at your location:
Reasons:
- GPS isn't 100% accurate (Β±10 meters)
- Looking for parking
- Going around the block
What to do:
- Write: "Where exactly are you?"
- Share photo of your entrance/building
- Go down to find them if needed
If you suspect a serious problem
Contact immediately:
- In app: "β οΈ Report problem" button
- Email: support@recigo.es
- Urgent: Use in-app chat (faster than email)

Before Helper Arrives
- Have notifications enabled
- Charge your phone (>50% battery)
- Check chat regularly
- Prepare access (keys, codes)
- Clear the path
During Pickup/Delivery
- Keep app open or in background
- Respond to messages quickly
- Verify photos helper uploads
- Be available for questions
- Don't leave until they finish
After Completion
- Review final photos
- Verify everything is fine
- Leave rating within 24h
- Open dispute if there's a problem (within 24h)
