How to Change App Language
ReciGo is available in English and Spanish. You can change the language at any time from the app settings.

📱 Change Language in App
Step by Step
- Open the ReciGo app
- Tap "Account" in the bottom bar
- Tap "Settings" (gear icon ⚙️)
- Tap "Language"
- Select your preferred language:
- 🇬🇧 English
- 🇪🇸 Español
- The app updates immediately
No need to restart the app or log out.
Note: Changing the language affects the entire app interface, including menus, buttons, notifications, and system messages.

💬 Communication Between Languages
What if I speak English and the helper speaks Spanish?
The chat works normally. Each person writes in their preferred language.
Options:
- Use external translator (Google Translate, DeepL)
- Write in basic Spanish if you can
- Look for helpers who speak English (many profiles indicate this)
🌐 Web Browser Language
If you use ReciGo from a browser (help.recigo.es):
- The language is automatically detected from your browser
- You can change it using the selector in the top right corner
- Your preference is saved in cookies
📧 Email and Notification Language
Automatic Emails
System emails are sent in the language configured in your app:
- Job confirmations
- Payment reminders
- Rating notifications
- Important updates
Change Email Language
The email language changes automatically when you change the app language. There's no separate setting.

Notifications on your phone appear in the configured language:
English:
"New job near you!"

Español:

🛠️ Troubleshooting
Language Doesn't Change
- Close and reopen the app
- Update the app to the latest version
- Clear cache (Phone Settings → Apps → ReciGo → Clear cache)
- If it persists, contact support
Some Text Remains in Another Language
This is normal if they are:
- Messages from other users
- Job descriptions
- Comments and ratings
Only the system interface is translated.
The App Is in Spanish and I Can't Change It
If you can't find the language option:
- Ve a Cuenta → Configuración
- Toca "Idioma"
- Selecciona "English"
Or reinstall the app and select English on the first screen.
