Creating a ReciGo account

Signing up for ReciGo is quick and easy. In less than 3 minutes you'll have your account ready to post jobs or start earning money as a helper.

Registration methods

You have several options to create your account:

📧 Email and password

The traditional and most common method:

  1. Download the ReciGo app from App Store or Google Play
  2. Open the app and tap "Create account"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Create a secure password (minimum 8 characters)
  5. Enter your full name
  6. Enter your phone number (+34 for Spain)
  7. Accept Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
  8. Tap "Sign up"

🍎 Sign in with Apple

Fast and private (iOS only):

  1. On the registration screen, tap "Continue with Apple"
  2. Use Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password
  3. Choose whether to share or hide your email
  4. Complete your name and phone
  5. ✅ Done!

🔵 Sign in with Google

Use your existing Google account:

  1. On the registration screen, tap "Continue with Google"
  2. Select your Google account
  3. Complete your phone (if not in your Google profile)
  4. ✅ Account created!

Phone verification

After creating your account, you must verify your phone number:

  1. ReciGo will send a 6-digit code via SMS
  2. Enter the code in the app
  3. If you don't receive the code in 2 minutes, tap "Resend code"

Required information

For all users

  • ✅ Full name
  • ✅ Email address
  • ✅ Phone number
  • ✅ Password (if using email/password)

Optional at signup

  • Profile photo
  • Address (can be added later)
  • Vehicle (only if you want to be a helper)

Initial setup

After creating your account, we recommend:

Add a profile photo

A photo increases trust:

  • Use a clear photo of your face
  • Avoid group photos or sunglasses
  • JPG or PNG, maximum 5MB

Set up your location

To find nearby jobs:

  • Go to AccountEdit profile
  • Enable location permissions
  • Or enter your address manually

Add a payment method (customers)

If you're going to post jobs:

  • Go to AccountPayment methods
  • Add a credit/debit card
  • Or set up Apple Pay / Google Pay

Complete KYC verification (helpers)

If you're going to accept jobs:

  • Go to AccountHelper settings
  • Complete the Stripe Connect process
  • Provide ID and bank details

App permissions

ReciGo needs some permissions to work:

Common problems

I don't receive the verification code

  1. Verify your number is correct
  2. Check your SMS inbox
  3. Wait 2 minutes before requesting resend
  4. Check that you have mobile coverage
  5. If it still doesn't arrive, contact support

"This email is already registered"

  • You already have an account with that email
  • Try logging in instead of signing up
  • If you forgot your password, use "Recover password"
  • If you used Apple/Google Sign-In, use that method

"Invalid phone number"

  • Make sure to include +34 (Spain code)
  • Correct format: +34 612 345 678
  • Don't use spaces or dashes at the beginning
  • Number must have 9 digits after +34

App asks for update

  • Go to App Store or Google Play
  • Search for "ReciGo"
  • Tap "Update"
  • ReciGo requires the latest version for security

Account security

Secure password

If using email/password, create a password that:

  • ✅ Has minimum 8 characters
  • ✅ Combines letters, numbers and symbols
  • ✅ Doesn't use personal information (name, birthdate)
  • ✅ Is unique to ReciGo (don't reuse it)

Privacy

ReciGo will never:

  • ❌ Share your email without permission
  • ❌ Send you spam
  • ❌ Sell your data to third parties
  • ❌ Charge you for creating an account

Change email or phone

You can change them later from:

  • AccountEdit profileEmail or Phone
  • You'll need to verify the new number/email

Frequently asked questions

Is it free to create an account?

Yes, creating and maintaining a ReciGo account is 100% free. You only pay commission when completing jobs (customers pay when posting, helpers have commission on earnings).

Can I have multiple accounts?

No. Terms of Use allow one account per person. Having multiple accounts can result in permanent suspension.

Do I need an account to see jobs?

No, you can browse public jobs without an account. But you need an account to:

  • Post jobs
  • Accept jobs as helper
  • Chat with users
  • Leave reviews

Can I switch from customer to helper account?

Yes, the same account works for both roles. Simply:

  • Go to AccountHelper settings
  • Complete the Stripe KYC verification process
  • Activate "Available for jobs"

What happens if I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time:

  • All your personal data will be deleted (GDPR)
  • Your reviews will remain anonymous
  • You cannot recover the account afterwards
  • Pending jobs must be completed first
