How to Edit Your Profile in ReciGo
Keeping your profile updated is important for a good experience on ReciGo. This guide explains how to edit your personal information, profile photo, and preferences.
π± Access Your Profile
- Open the ReciGo app
- Tap the "Account" icon in the bottom bar (last tab)
- Tap your name or profile photo at the top
- You'll see your complete profile

Step by Step
- On your profile, tap your current profile photo
- Select an option:
- π· Take photo - Opens camera
- πΌοΈ Choose from gallery - Select existing photo
- ποΈ Remove photo - Returns to default photo
- If you take/choose a photo:
- Adjust the frame (drag and pinch to zoom)
- Tap "Use photo"
- The photo updates immediately
Tips for a Good Photo

Name
- Tap "Edit profile"
- Tap the "Name" field
- Type your new name
- Tap "Save"
Important:
- Use your real name (not nicknames)
- Maximum 50 characters
- Only letters and spaces
Phone
You can change your phone number directly from the app, but you'll need to verify the new number:
- Go to Account β tap your name or profile photo
- Tap "Edit profile"
- Tap the "Phone" field
- Enter your new phone number (with country code)
- You'll receive an SMS with a verification code on the new number
- Enter the code in the app
- β Number updated
Verification required
For security, you must verify the new number via SMS before it updates. If you don't receive the code, check the number is correct and try again.
- Tap "Edit profile"
- Tap the "Email" field
- Type your new email
- Tap "Save"
- You'll receive a verification email
- Open the email and tap "Verify email"
